Keiser University Nicaragua has opened enrollment for the Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence at the San Marcos campus — the first degree of its kind offered in the country.
The program combines machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision and big data with a required sequence on AI ethics and regulation. Students program in Python and work on advanced computing platforms from the first year.
No prior programming experience is assumed. The curriculum builds from foundations in discrete mathematics and linear algebra before moving into applied model development.
Like every San Marcos undergraduate program, it is taught in English and follows the U.S. academic calendar.
